Hard Rockin' on the Rack!

Yay!!!! So...I was in Vegas this weekend with my friend Ali Afshar (actor & race car driver) and his crew for a little R&R...And I remembered that I just shipped the Hard Rock a BIG order!
Pieces from my collection are in 2 of their Boutiques..."Love Jones" and "The Hard Rock Store"

Love Jones is a super sexy Lingerie Boutique that carries the "Cute Booty" Pants and the matching "Social Gathering" tanks...as well as various swim suits and sexy gifts! They also have a Room Service Menu that allows guests of the hotel to have erotic gifts sent up to their room! I was thinking "Boudoir Booty" would be a nice addition! (See Through Lace "Cute Booty" Pants would be HOT!)

The other store is "The Hard Rock Store" They are more of a one stop shop boutique that carries High End Clothing as well as flip-flops and sunscrean. They also had a blinged out tricycle...that I unfortunately did NOT get a picture of :(

I originally went there to party at Vanity...which was a cool spot...but since they had NO tables available, we bounced! I did LOVE the new restaurant inside of the Hard Rock called "Johnny Smalls"...owned by a friend of mine...Lonnie Moore from the Dolce Group...Definatley worth checking out! Oddly enough...the people were WAAAAY better looking and better dressed at The Hard Rock than at the Wynn...Hmmm......

Vegas Tip & Note to self...Skip the cab line by dropping a $20 to the Cab Line Guy...He will whistle you another cab while the herd of cows stands there to properly wait their turn...Very useful during "Fight" Weekends...

"Meet The Designers & Their Muse"

So...LA Fashion Week kicked off on Wednesday night with FGILA's 2nd Annual event, "Meet The Designers & The Muse That Inspires Them." I attended the 1st one 6 months ago...and was so impressed with the quality level of the event...that I couldn't wait to attend this one. It was held at the Super Swanky...Downtown Standard Hotel. The super modern lobby was swarming with Fashion Whos's Who...the lush atmosphere filled with models, designers, artists, and musicians...felt right at home to me! Last time I brought my favorite Runway model...Britania Herrlein. But this time...I decided to go a different route. I brought one of the Hottest, and coolest mucisians...Ryan Starr. Did I also mention how HOT she was? She came in for a fitting the day before...and of course everything fit her like a glove. She was obsessed with one of my favorite jackets...so...of course...she rocked the hell out of it with one of my black floor length skirts...hot off the runway..I paired it with a simple black tank called "Look at These" from my Lounge Collection. We both did our own make-up...and we had our hair done by a friend. We ended up doing a last minute quick change Ryan's hair...but it was definately for the best...and off we went. But...not of course, without picking up my BFF & Fashion Side Kick...Mark Montano. Once we arrived...the lights were flashing...and the papparazzi were going crazy! We walked the Red Carpet...and did a few interviews. The evening was magical...Not only did I have the opportunity to re-connect with some of my favorite designers...Maggie Barry, Eric Kim, & Sue Wong, but I also got to meet some newer ones that I kept tabs on from Project Runway...Nick Verreos, Mila Hermanovski, & Jesus Estrada.

Looking forward to a busy week of fashion...poor me...

"Live From The Red Carpet"

Wow! What an AWESOME day that was! Ok...so E! invited me to head up one of three teams for their Grammy Make-Overs. The premise was to make over a fan from the E! stands into one of the Grammy Nominees. I was in charge of "Team Rihanna". Our lucky girl was Razieh...I LOVED her! I brought my friend & Recording Artist, Lexy Panterra, along for the ride... Hair was done by LA Genius, Dr. Boogie. He has done hair for many celebs...including Niecy Nash, from "Clean House" & "Reno 911" & Toccara, from America's Next Top Model. Make-up Artist Shalene Choon worked her magic & the out come... was well...HOT, HOT, HOT! Jay Manuel Hosted the Make-over's and reported live with Giuliana Rancic. I pulled samples from my Runway Collection for the "Rihanna Look". The shoes were Balenciaga, the cuff was from CyberDog out of London. After we filmed our segment, we walked the Red Carpet and took pictures on the 360 Glam Cam. When we got back to our dressing rooms...There was another surprise waiting...General Larry Platt..."Pants on the Ground, Pant's on the Ground...Lookin' like a Fool with your Pants on the Ground..." Ryan Seacrest flew him out to perform his song on E! Of course I cheezed it up and took a picture with him...He even sang for me...and I recorded it on my Blackberry...

So that was that...and there I was...
